Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-10-20
These terms govern your use of Ramalama AI at ramalamaai.net (the “Service”), owned and operated by Lunonia Inc By using the Service you agree to them, including the acceptable use policy in section 7, and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
1. What the Service does
The Service makes short AI videos of the Ramalama costume walk, the TikTok Halloween trend. You upload one to three photos of people, or one or two of pets, one in each photo, choose a costume for everyone or one for each person (the outfit in their photo, one of ours, your own words, or a picture of a costume) and a quality (480p or 720p). AI models check the pictures and words, dress everyone in their costume and make a 12–15 second vertical video that follows the camera and moves of the trend, which you download as an MP4. You can use the Service without signing in: we keep a guest account in your browser.
2. Independent fan tool, AI-generated content
Ramalama AI is an independent fan tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Róisín Murphy, her record labels, TikTok or Red Hat (whose open-source project RamaLama shares the name). The song title and the trend's name are used only to describe what the videos show; they belong to their owners. The videos contain no song and no logos.
Everything the Service makes is AI-generated: a concept render, not real footage of any real thing or event. When you share a video, don't present it as real footage or as an official video of anyone. Where a platform asks you to mark AI-generated content, follow its rules.
3. The models we use
Each costume picture is made with Nano Banana 2.1 (Google), and the video with Seedance 2 Fast (ByteDance), both run through kie.ai; the video follows the camera and moves of a short clip of the trend that we use as a reference only and never show or hand out. Photos are checked on fal.ai (Features & Labels Inc.).
Photos you upload are checked by an automated image moderation model (fal-ai/x-ailab/nsfw on fal.ai) before they are used.
4. Accounts
You don't need an account to look around or to make a video: the first time you press the button, a guest account is made in your browser. To use your credits or see your videos on another device, sign in with a link we email to the address you paid with; one email address is one account.
You must be at least 13 to use the Service. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend accounts used for abuse or fraud.
5. Credits and payments
There is no free video. Videos use credits: a video uses 6 credits at 480p and 10 at 720p, whatever the number of people or pets. You buy credits once, with no subscription, and they never expire:
The prices, in US dollars:
- 6 credits ($5.99): one 480p video.
- 10 credits ($9.99): one 720p video.
- 24 credits ($19.99): four 480p videos or two 720p videos.
Credits are given back automatically if a video fails, is refused by a safety check or takes too long. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details. Stripe emails you a receipt.
6. What you upload and write
Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to use. You keep every right you have in what you upload. In particular:
- Upload photos of yourself, of people who agreed to it, or of your pets, and costume pictures you may use. Don't upload photos of public figures or celebrities, or of anyone under 18 without their parent's or guardian's permission. You confirm this every time you make a video.
- Don't use the Service to make anyone look like they did something they didn't, or for anything listed in section 7.
We use your uploads only to make your videos and to check them as described in section 7. We do not use them to train AI models. How long we keep them is in the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use policy
You may not use the Service to upload, make, download or share any of the following:
- Sexual content: nudity, sexual acts, or bodies or clothing shown in a sexualized way.
- Violence and gore: realistic killing, injury, crashes into people, or content that threatens or promotes violence or terrorism.
- Hate: hate symbols, slurs, or content that attacks people because of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Child safety: anything that sexualizes, endangers or exploits anyone under 18, real or fictional.
- Deepfakes and impersonation: images or videos of a real, identifiable person, or anything that passes a result off as real footage of a real person, company or event.
- Copyright and trademark infringement: photos, logos or trademarks you don't have the right to use.
You also may not attack, overload or scrape the Service, get around its limits, or resell it.
How we check content
- Before anything is made, costume words are checked against a list of refused words and then by an AI safety model (OpenAI's gpt-oss-safeguard, run through Inworld) against our costume rules: no sexual or revealing costumes, no realistic gore or weapons aimed at people, nothing involving children, no drugs, hate or self-harm, and no real, named people. Every photo and costume picture you upload is checked by an automated image moderation model (fal-ai/x-ailab/nsfw on fal.ai). If anything is refused, nothing is used and your credits come back.
- Before the video is made, the costume picture is checked by the same image model.
- Before you see the finished video, frames from it are checked by the same image model. A video that fails any check is not stored or delivered, and your credits come back. If a check can’t run, the video waits until it can.
- Automated checks can’t catch everything, so the categories above are also handled through reports, which a person reviews. We add to the refused words when the logs show new attempts.
- Every check is logged with the time, the video it belongs to, which check it was and the result.
Penalties
If content breaks this policy, depending on how serious it is and whether it happens again, we will delete the content, remove the credits left on the account without a refund, and suspend or close the account. Content that may be illegal is reported to the authorities.
How to report content
To report content you believe breaks this policy, email support@ramalamaai.net with “Report content” in the subject line. Include the link to the video if you have it, where you saw it and the date. A person reads every report.
8. Sound
Videos you make have no sound; the Service provides no music for them. To add music, use the music tools inside TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts when you post: those platforms license their sounds for use in their own apps. The samples on our pages play with the trend’s sound so you can hear how it lands.
9. Your videos
You may download, keep, share and post the videos you make, including on monetized social media accounts, as long as you follow sections 2 and 7. You may not use a video in a way that suggests the owner of a brand or character in it made, sponsored or endorsed it.
10. Copyright and takedown requests
If you own the rights to something you believe is used on the Service without permission, email support@ramalamaai.net with “Takedown” in the subject line. Include your name and contact details, what you own and where it appears. A person reviews every request.
11. What we can't promise
- AI video models drift: the face, the costume and the street may not match your photo or our samples exactly, and two videos from the same photo differ.
- We don't promise that every video works the first time. A video that fails gives back its credits.
The Service is provided as is and as available. It may be slow or unavailable at times, and we may pause video making when demand or costs are high. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new date, and important changes are also emailed to account holders.
13. Disputes
If something goes wrong, email us first at support@ramalamaai.net; we will try to sort it out with you before anyone starts a formal proceeding. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live apply where they give you more rights.
14. Contact
One address handles support, billing, refunds, privacy requests, reports and legal notices: support@ramalamaai.net. Please put the topic in the subject line. A person reads every email. See also the Contact page.
